Junior FIRST LEGO League
FIRST introduces younger children to the exciting world of science and technology. This program features a real-world challenge to be solved by research, critical thinking, construction, teamwork, and imagination. Guided by adult coaches, teams use LEGO bricks and other elements to build a model with a motorized part and develop a coordinating poster to illustrate their journey.
iSPACE organizes FIRST Junior LEGO League (Jr.FLL) events, such as Expos, workshops, and training for coaches and Expo volunteers. iSPACE does NOT form, host or coach any Jr.FLL teams. If parents or teachers desire a Jr.FLL team experience for their child/students, it is up to the parents/teachers to form or find a Jr.FLL team. Granted, sometimes this is not an easy task as oftentimes there are not established teams in every neighborhood or school. If you are interested in connecting with others in the area who are interested in forming teams, please click on this link to add your information. After you’ve completed the interest survey, you will be emailed a link that will enable you to view the information of others also interested in FIRST programs.
